This is another report on the efficacy or not of diesel engines. I would have thought that, by now, it was common knowledge that you need to run a car for at least 10,000 miles in a given year in order to recoup the cost of a more expensive diesel engined car purchase. Not to mention that the fuel costs more to buy as it is. Regardless, the article makes for some interesting and clears up the facts from the myths about when buying a diesel is more sensible.
