What’s The Most Important Aspect Of A New Car To Consider?

For most people, buying a car is a compromise of many different things. Here’s a list I considered off the top of my head recently:

• Safety
• Cost to buy
• Type of fuel
• Maintenance costs
• Insurance costs
• Body shape
• Toys
• Interior space
• Performance
• Security
• Brand reputation
• Reliability
• Deals offered
• The ‘X’ Factor

So, can you add to that list?  And what do you put in the order of importance?  I’m guessing for most cost is up there closely followed by insurance and reliability.  For my next car, I’m after something with space, a sleek design and reliability – with a bit of performance thrown in!
