The Ford B-Max for 2012 comes with some superb features – not least including some truly premium ideas in what is a compact car. The sales speak places it in the ‘multi-activity vehicle market’, which is really the old MPV (multi purpose vehicle) segment. What does that mean though? It’s a car that is suitable for a variety of tasks – whether that is the school run or even lugging some skis.

Inside the box of tricks for the Ford B-Max is a 4.1m in length but the capability to carry a 2.3 metre load which is simply astounding. Also of benefit are the rear sliding doors, giving ease of access for all. There are also Ford ECOnetic engines, SYNC control, soft touch controls and premium fabric trim.
