The state of play at Top Gear HQ seems to be a precarious one at the moment. Chris Evans has gone, it’s still not clear if the rest of the team have totally gelled and the show has had some of the lowest ratings of all time during the last series. It’s no wonder then that bosses have confirmed there’ll be no Christmas special for 2016. Instead, efforts will be guided in to ensuring that 2017 is a resurgent year for Top Gear – a year in which it will return to former glory. Watch this space and we’ll report more information as we get it about the next series.
