Here at Car Articles, we are firm believers that you should try to, where you can, make the new year better than the previous. Whether that means making more effort with family, getting the job you want, travelling or fulfilling another life ambition – it’s worth considering what you really want with your time. We also believe that you should consider some driving resolutions, so here at five to consider for 2015:
- I will drive with courtesy and care. Too often people are in such a rush that manners and road craft go out of the window. Consider this a benchmark resolution on which all the others could be based.
- I will drive economically. Fuel is expensive and there is only so much of it in the world. Drive in an eco conscious fashion and you’ll save money, save wear and tear on your car and pollute the planet less.
- I will maintain my car. Similar to the previous point, cars are expensive. A well maintained car with a modern engine (even an older car with an older engine) will run for toward 300,000 miles or more if it is correctly serviced and looked after.
- I will clean my car. Cars (even the cheapest on the market) need to be washed and given a little TLC to look their best. Not only will this make it look like you actually care but it will stop salt and other corrosives from causing damage.
- I will love driving (again). If you have fallen out of love with driving, then use 2015 to fall back in love. Whether that means giving the occasional Italian tune up on a motorway run to liven things up or going out for a B road Sunday blast, there should be some satisfaction to be enjoyed behind the wheel.
So there you go, five resolutions for 2015 from Car Articles for you take on board. I hope you all enjoy the start of 2015!
