The idea behind the SUV is that it is a vehicle for all people – it can do anything, carry a load, take 5 (or even 7) people in comfort and tackle some green lanes. It’s doubtful that buyers consider the SVR normally in the mix when considering a ‘standard’ SUV. How does 0-62 in less than 5 seconds tickle you? In a car that weighs more than 2 tonnes? So we’re talking here about a car that has all the capability of a standard Range Rover Sport but fitted with a massively powerful engine. What’s not to like?
